I am very proud to inform you that the Tennessee Public Safety Behavioral Health Act has passed both the Senate and House of Representatives and is on its way for the Governor's signature. It has been a lot of long days and nights, but our hard work and persistence has paid off. Hopefully, this bill will improve care for our brothers and sisters suffering from mental health issues caused by our profession.
Thank you to Representative Sam Whitson and Senator Bill Ketron for sponsoring the bill and working very hard to pass this very important legislation.
