Thank you for your interest in joining the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association. At-Large membership is designed for governmental career firefighters in Tennessee who do not have an IAFF Local in their city or county fire department. The Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association serves as the advocate at the State Capitol on behalf of career firefighters around the state. The TPFFA has been successful in advocating over the years in passing legislation such as freedom of speech to elected officials, state in-service training pay, cancer presumption, HIV/AIDS presumption, PTSD presumption, pandemic disease presumption, and better military leave language, just to name a few. A broader list of relative laws can be found in the TPFFA Book of Law on the TPFFA website.
Dues are $25.35 per month, which includes both the TPFFA dues and IAFF dues. This is payable annually, or it&'s prorated if you join during the year. As a part of being a member of the union, you'll have the right to attend the biennial convention held where you have a voice and a vote as a delegate at the convention should you choose to attend. Please fill out the information below to join. Once that is submitted, you&'ll be taken to a payment page to handle your dues.
If you would like to speak with someone, please email info@tpffa.org with any questions you may have, and an officer will reach out to you. Thank you again and stay safe!
